Catering and Reservation Policies

Catering and Reservation Policies for Smoke on the Water BBQ are as follows:

Minimum Group Size

Our catering menu pricing is based on a minimum number of guests per group. We are also happy to accommodate smaller parties with custom pricing.


Booking

In order to provide the best possible service, we ask that you contact us as soon as you know how many guests you will be expecting. Most of our catered events are planned well in advance. However, we understand that this is not always possible. Do not hesitate to contact Smoke on the Water BBQ on short notice. Our staff will do our best to accommodate the needs of your group.


Delivery and Setup Charge

All applicable fees for delivery and setup of your catered meal will be based on mileage, as well as services provided.


Headcount

In order to provide your guests with optimal service, we require that you contact your event coordinator by 10:00 am, three days prior to the scheduled date of your event to provide a final, guaranteed headcount of the number of guests that we will be serving. If the event coordinator is unavailable when you call in, please provide your final headcount to the manager on duty. We must know how many guests to prepare food for, and this number will be used to calculate your costs.


Confirmation Agreement

To avoid any confusion, Smoke on the Water BBQ will prepare a Confirmation Agreement which will include all included services, charges, and other pertinent details relating to your catering service. When the Agreement is signed, your catering event will be finalized. This Agreement helps protect our customers and is useful to prevent misunderstandings.


Payment

A deposit of half of the total cost of your catering service is due at least one month prior to the scheduled date of your event. The remainder of the cost is payable on the day of the event. Please note: The deposit is non-refundable when seven days or less remain prior to the scheduled date of your event.


Tax

Prices do not include sales tax. If your organization is tax-exempt, Smoke on the Water BBQ respectfully requests that you submit the appropriate documentation prior to submitting your payment.


Pricing

Unless otherwise indicated, all prices listed are per person. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.


Service Charge

A 20% service charge will be added on to the total food and beverage expense charge for all full-service catered events. Gratuity payment will be left to your discretion for delivery-only events.
